The fountain was established after District Attorney Bill Adair, Jr. met with victims in April 2011 shortly after taking office.
All across the state, we have many dedicated district attorneys and assistant district attorneys who support and work hard for victims.
VOCAL would like to recognize Assistant District Attorney Angie Hamilton of the 11th Judicial Circuit in Lauderdale County who went above and beyond in seeking justice. Angie took on two cold cases which she worked in addition to her regular work load. After much hard work and many hours, both cases were solved. In fact indictments on both cases came down the same day.
