Judge Binford on Court System Cut-Backs
Houston County Circuit Court Judge Lawson Little served his last day working as a judge in the Houston County Courthouse today. Little, a native of Luverne, followed in the footsteps of his father, who also worked as an attorney and served as a judge, but in Crenshaw County.

“I don't think he has a magical solution, but he is interested in working with legislative leaders in Alabama and the governor’s office to secure the funding we need,” said Judge Binford.
